For hosts & drivers
Everything worth knowing before you partner with us.
Commission, payouts, responsibilities and what happens when something goes wrong - written out in full, before you commit to anything.
We’re in pre-launch. Bookings open December 1, 2026, and we’re onboarding hosts and drivers now.
The answers below describe how everything will work then. If you want to list your accommodation or drive with us, apply in about a minute and a founder will be in touch on WhatsApp.
What loyvel is and how you join.
A booking platform for accommodations and private car transfers in Bali and Nusa Penida, built so that the host or the driver keeps 100% of what they earn.
Travellers book and pay with us. The stay is run by an independent host and the ride by an independent driver, but we stay the customer-facing party throughout - so the guest comes to us, not to you, when something needs sorting.
From the traveller, never from you. For accommodations the guest pays the host’s nightly price plus a clearly itemised 10% service fee. Both numbers are shown before they pay, and the fee sits on top of your price rather than inside it.
For transfers, the traveller sees one final all-in price. The driver compensation, our operational costs and our margin are built into that single number - and your agreed compensation is never reduced by it.
Yes - that is exactly what this pre-launch period is for. Listings aren’t being created on the platform yet, so applying starts a conversation rather than a contract. Fill in the host or driver form and a founder gets in touch personally to walk you through what’s needed and set things up ahead of our December 1, 2026 launch.
No. There is no listing fee, no subscription, no onboarding charge and no fee to leave. Money only ever moves from us to you.
Because we’d rather know one region well than be everywhere superficially. We’ve been on the ground in Bali and Nusa Penida since 2024, and we personally interview every host and driver - which only works if we stay close.
The rest of Indonesia, and later other Southeast Asia regions, will follow at the same pace.
We’re building the supply side first - hand-picked accommodations and vetted drivers - and we begin advertising to travellers ahead of the December 1, 2026 opening. Guests see a final price on the listing card with nothing added at checkout, which is a large part of why we expect fewer of them to abandon at the last step.
Listing, payouts and how we work together.
0% commission on your bookings. You receive 100% of your listed nightly price.
loyvel makes its money from a separate 10% service fee charged to the tourist, shown clearly at checkout. That fee is on top of your price - it doesn’t come out of your payout.
Payouts run every 15 days, by bank transfer (via Wise Business). There’s no minimum payout threshold for hosts.
A booking becomes payable once its cancellation window has expired and it’s clear of any active dispute. The full payout schedule and booking history is visible in your dashboard.

No. You can keep listing on Airbnb, Booking.com or anywhere else. We link your calendar over iCal and help you connect it when you join, so a date taken elsewhere closes with us automatically.
iCal does not cover multi-unit properties, so hotels and resorts update their availability with us directly when a booking arrives from another channel.
You do. We take care of the booking and look after the guest, but the property is yours to run - its condition, cleanliness, working utilities and guest safety on site, along with local rules, are down to you.
Before each guest arrival we’ll ask you to confirm the property is ready (cleaned, utilities working, no known hazards). It’s a short operational acknowledgement, not us inspecting the property.
You set your nightly price, minimum stays, check-in / check-out times and house rules. The platform-wide refund schedule applies to every booking (so guests see the same rules across all listings), but the rest of your conditions are yours.
One refund schedule applies to every booking on the platform, so you always know where you stand. What the guest gets back depends on when they cancel:
In the last 3 weeks before the trip, or they don’t show up
Nothing. All paid amounts are kept.
More than 3 weeks before the trip, but after their first 14 days from booking
Their 60% balance. The 30% deposit is kept.
More than 3 weeks before the trip, AND still within their first 14 days from booking
Their 30% deposit AND their 60% balance.
| When the guest cancels | What they get back |
|---|---|
| In the last 3 weeks before the trip, or they don’t show up | Nothing. All paid amounts are kept. |
| More than 3 weeks before the trip, but after their first 14 days from booking | Their 60% balance. The 30% deposit is kept. |
| More than 3 weeks before the trip, AND still within their first 14 days from booking | Their 30% deposit AND their 60% balance. |
Guests pay 40% at booking (a 10% service fee plus a 30% deposit) and the remaining 60% balance about 30 days before check-in. The 10% service fee is never refunded and is ours, not yours - it was never part of your payout.
Where a guest is entitled to a refund under this schedule, the corresponding amount is netted from your settlement for that booking.
We handle guest communication and refund processing centrally - you don’t negotiate with guests directly.
If there’s an active dispute or incident, we may temporarily hold the related payout while we investigate. A hold doesn’t automatically mean a loss - it’s there so we can review properly before money moves.
Trips, payouts and standards.
For every completed transfer you receive a fixed agreed compensation in IDR. There’s no commission deducted from that amount - what’s agreed is what you get.
loyvel sets the retail price the tourist pays. The driver compensation, payment-processing costs and our operational margin are all built into that single number.
Payouts run every 15 days, direct to your Indonesian bank account (sent in IDR via Wise Business).
There’s a minimum payout threshold of IDR 750,000. Balances below that roll forward into the next cycle so we don’t burn your earnings on transfer fees. When you reach the threshold, the full balance is paid out.
We’re in pre-launch, so drivers aren’t being onboarded onto the platform yet. To start the conversation, fill in the driver form and we’ll get in touch personally to walk you through what’s needed and set things up ahead of our December 2026 launch.
Yes. loyvel doesn’t own or rent out vehicles. Every driver works with their own vehicle, fuel and equipment - and cars only, no scooters or motorbikes.
When a tourist books, we operationally assign a driver and offer the trip - with pickup, drop-off, time and the customer contact - on WhatsApp. There’s no app to install. You’re free to accept or decline, with no guaranteed volume and no penalty for declining.
No. You operate as an independent contractor. You’re free to work with Grab, Gojek and any other platform, you choose when you’re available, you’re paid only for completed rides, and you’re not on a guaranteed-income or exclusivity contract.
You remain legally responsible for: your driving authority, your vehicle’s roadworthiness, your vehicle insurance as required by local law, and the safe operation of every trip you accept.
Contact us on WhatsApp as soon as it’s safe to do so. We coordinate with the customer, preserve the booking record and may freeze related payouts while we investigate. Disputes go through us, never directly between you and the traveller.
Your own legally-required vehicle insurance remains the primary cover for vehicle and third-party claims - loyvel doesn’t replace that.
Transfers are paid in full by the traveller at booking, and one platform-wide refund schedule decides what they get back depending on how late they cancel. You are never asked to absorb a traveller’s refund out of a compensation you have already earned on a completed trip.
